If you’re not up to driving downtown or the one-hour Xoco waits are too daunting, check out this convenient Rick Bayless place for flavorful and fresh Mexican street foods.

The Fresco Tacos (Chipotle Shrimp, Cochinita Pibil) and Tortas (essentially, Mexican Panini: try the Cubana with roast pork, bacon, black beans, avocado and Chihuahua cheese) are yummy, as are the Huaraches (grilled flatbreads) and the Chicken Chorizo Quesadillas. Don’t miss the Roasted Corn and Poblano Chowder. Beer and wine are available, or grab a Mango Lime Agua Fresca. A great pick-me-up during a long day of shopping!
