The Mane Event: An Arlington Heights Tradition

Multiple thunderstorms didn’t dampen Arlington Heights' enthusiasm for the Mane Event.

It's the largest block party in the Northwest Suburbs featuring live bands, children’s activities, many favorite eateries and various other businesses - including Make It Better.net – last Friday, August 20th.

When we asked one mother attending with 2 girlfriends and a combined 5 daughters what she liked best about Arlington Heights in general and Mane Event specifically, she answered emphatically, “Everything!  The people, the amenities, the lifestyle. Tonight’s just a great example of this.”

We understand – and look forward to learning more about the vibrant community.

Joe Villinski, of Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, explains the theatre’s broad community reach with Make It Better.net Founder Susan B. Noyes.

Even the worst rains didn’t keep customers away from the constantly busy Capannari Ice Cream tent.
