Make It Better's "Social Networking for Moms" Event Raises $500 for the Family Service Center

A windy, cold night didn't stop the North Shore's most photogenic women from coming out for a good cause.

Make It Better teamed up with Classic Kids, Scissors Edge, and Mindovo in a effort to raise funds and to learn about today's world of social networking. The group of more than 25 people not only got a better understanding of what kids do online, but also raised $500 for the Family Service Center.

In-between sipping wine, hair and make-up, Classic Kids talented photographers took fun profile shots of the attendees. Mindovo computer consultants explained the nuances of facebook as well as must know lingo (LOL, OMG, BRB, etc.).

Everyone left with a digital profile photo to jumpstart a Facebook presence, and some good memories.
